Exploring the town
Exploring in a playable city brings local history to life in fun ways, and engages visitors and locals alike

Exploring and learning TimeHunter provides visitors with a fun way to explore, learn a little of the history of the place and find some of the hidden gems that locals know. For the council or BID it provides new fun ways of encouraging exploration of new areas of town and helps promote local shops, pubs and cafes along the way.

Engaging visitors TimeHunter games help visitors explore the town, with challenges linked to buildings, attractions and features. Questions can be themed to align with events or festivals, but provide an attraction for visitors that can be played all year round. Challenges can be factual, fun and interactive, great for families and group activities.

A fun experience We don’t just provide an app, we provide an experience. Clues are provided in a set of collectable cards which can be sold in local shops, hotels, museums and tourist sites linking the game to local businesses. Challenges are triggered as you find the beacons and maybe factual, observational or physical challenges.

Exploring the town The game can be tailored to suit any location, or tied to specific attractions or local events. Custom games can be created. Tasks can be questions or physical challenges, observational, factual or just plain fun and help reveal ‘historical mysteries’ lost to the antiquity of time.

Promoting retailers, integrating attractions Rewards, prizes and adverts by retailers, cafes and restaurants can be triggered. Encouraging passing visitors to step over the threshold, and social networking helps with promotion. Game routes can relate to attractions and museums so helping visitors to benefit from all that the town has to offer.
